The Dallas Sierra Club has organized a bus trip to Big Bend National Park over the Thanksgiving Holiday every year for almost 25 years.  This year we added a canoe trip through Boquillas Canyon.  In addition, we had two backpacking trips on Mesa de Anguila and a backpacking/dayhiking trip in the Chisos Mountains.

This year I lead group 2. We camped in Juniper Flat and dayhiked the Lost Mine Trail, Emory Peak, and the South Rim.  On the last day we backpacked down the Window Trail and out the Oak Spring Trail.
